Our Programs
Classes vary and change from time to time in line with whatever members suggest and the availability of a tutor. We occasionally invite speakers, both to strengthen our classes and to provide variety in our programme.
We also organise outings to places such as Government House, Parliament of Victoria, Harness Racing. At various times we have discussed new activities such as cycling, walking, card games (other than Bridge), current affairs and a book club.
Although our classes are generally geared to acquiring knowledge, a few are of a recreational nature such as walking, which we feel provides a balance.
The following programs are currently run at Williamstown/Hobsons Bay U3A:
We have also recently introduced a Jigsaw Exchange for members to swap jigsaws you have completed or purchased at an ‘Op Shop’ for new (to you) jigsaws at no cost. Donations for the Jigsaw Exchange are welcomed.
